Site wide footer vs. single page links for SEO juice?

I'm curious if it's better to include a link in the footer of all pages across a site (ie Website design by XYZ ) vs. including that on a single page of the site? People inside targeted location, searching outside targeted location. Is there a fix?

I hope I can communicate this well enough. Example. An automotive shop. Through Google Ads I target location "A", but at times people within location "A" will search for the car repair outside of "A". Is there a way to fix this? It's not been a single location, it's been everything from a few towns outside the location, to towns in another state. submitted by /u/Luke_Voidwalker [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/2vq2Eoo

Second guessing the offer for a SEO consultant position due to anxiety

It's not an SEO question per se, but more of working in an agency. Context: I was let go from a PR agency years ago (my first job after college) due to poor performance (typos, poor attention to detail). It caused me health problems such as anxiety and insomnia, which I had to take medications for. I managed to find a new job, and eventually moved to a role doing content and did some SEO on the sides. I learned as I went along. Recently a positon for a SEO consultant opened up by an SEO agency that set up a new office in my area, and I applied for it. I somehow managed to impress the hiring managers enough to offer me the job, but now I am second guessing my offer due to my bad experience in my old agency. On one hand, this would be a good opportunity to grow my SEO and people skills. Plus, I don't know when such an opportunity will come by again. On the other hand, I don't think my people skills are fantastic (I speak faster than I think), and I'm being held back ...

SEO Tools that give you tasks to do?

Hey! I've been really learning a lot about SEO the past couple of days, but it can get really complicated. I'm looking for tools that can help me, and most-preferably tools that give me tasks to do. I purchased MarketGoo, but I ran out of tasks that aren't things like "Can your customers call you" and "Try and interview a VIP in your industry". I'd like to try something similar where it's clear what my next step should be for SEO. I mostly feel like I need backlinks, but those are hard to get when I don't want to share my website on Facebook yet. submitted by /u/jannikn [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/2NXBooU
