Why does this sub-reddit not have a Discord server?

I understand that for what it's worth, this sub-reddit is decent at best, largely because of the lack of any standards enforced and no knowledge base or FAQ for new users or commonly asked questions. Maybe the mods are to blame for that one - who knows. However, for a community so large, why is there no Discord server? It would be a great way to get answers in real-time, and it could have features that this sub-reddit is definitely lacking. I'm sure this question has been posed a million times, and maybe some people don't want to be overly helpful to one another, but I welcome it. submitted by /u/GringoTheDingoAU [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/347XhLK

Ranking in Google

Hi guys, I have been trying to rank in Google for months now but nothing seems to be happening. I have taken so many courses on SEO and I've spent so much money learning how to rank my site but I'm still nowhere to be found on Google. I had started getting some traffic through Pinterest but with Covid 19 things seem to be slowing down. Right now, I don't know if I should give up on my site or continue even if I'm seeing no change. Is anyone else experiencing this or if you've experienced it before, how did you get through it? submitted by /u/outdoorplayproject [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/2UUM4tJ

Should I write blog posts for my car detailing business?

Hi guys Thank you for all the help with my previous SEO questions. It has helped me a ton. Should I be writing more blog posts for my car detailing business? My understanding is that blogs help gain organic backlinks, social shares, SME authority, etc. But I'm not sure what kind of posts I should be writing about. I'm honestly not sure what topics my target audience would be interested in if they're interested at all. I see on competitor sites it's common to have the following, these same competitors are the ones using blackhat link strategies, so I'm not sure if their content is actually engaging or is it just something to thicken the website for Google (perhaps this is also a valid reason to produce content even if users are not reading it): - Easy steps to clean dashboard - How to clean car carpets - How to remove ink from leather seats I open it and read the content, it's garbage and not written by a native English writer.... submitted by /u/...

The New Way to Chat With Your Visitors

Marketing has evolved into an omnichannel approach. This means you can no longer just go after one channel to succeed. Back in the day, companies like Facebook grew into billion-dollar businesses through one channel. Facebook used email to grow and they did it by having you invite all your contacts to join Facebook. Yelp was also similar . They grew into a multi-million dollar business through one channel… SEO . Dropbox grew through social media. If you tweeted about Dropbox, they would give you more space. These marketing approaches worked well for all of these well-known companies, but what’s wrong with them? The law of shitty click-throughs What worked for Facebook, Yelp, and Dropbox were all great strategies, but over time, all good marketing channels got saturated and stopped working like they used to. As Andrew Chen puts it, first it works and then it doesn’t . It really is that simple. Sure, those channels can still drive traffic and always will, but as people get ...

Hey guys, We have a SAAS company we have acquired that sells GDPR/CCPA compliance solutions that generate about 5K monthly organic traffic. There is another website that is rather informational about GDPR that has no services behind it, and it generates about 8K monthly organic traffic. I read a few articles Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/safalytics [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/3bxy4wy

What Readers Want During COVID-19: Content Ideas for Every Niche

Posted by amandamilligan This is a stressful time to say the least. Everything is impacted by COVID-19 in some way, including our work. Once we’ve taken time to acknowledge how lucky we are to work in digital, it’s time to assess if our current content strategy needs any adjusting based on current events. Many marketers are finding themselves: Wanting to write about something topical Needing to add more content to their calendars At a loss for how to contribute at a time like this So, I spent hours using Ubersuggest , putting myself in the shoes of various Americans.
