Will better hosting or a better CDN fix my LCP over 2.5 seconds? (Core Web Vitals)

I've tried and tried to get LCP under 2.5 seconds in order to pass Core Web Vitals.

I have GeneratePress and everything as optimized as possible. Currently I'm running on Ezoic servers for their free Wordpress Hosting along with their caching & cloud thingy, also running Ezoic Leap with everything turned on, all the optimizations. I've also completly turned off Ezoic ads for most pages for the time being to see if that would help (and it seemed to help some). They also have me on Cloudflare CDN (which they say runs hand in hand with their CDN).

I got it to where Core Web Vitals tool shows 95 on Mobile and 99 on Desktop, but Google fails me on real world experience because LCP is over 2.5 seconds for both mobile and desktop.

So, I'm thinking maybe the next answer is to get better hosting? I'm not sure how Ezoic Wordpress hosting compares to what's out there. I don't even know if that matters. When I contacted Ezoic, the rep seemed to act like the hosting doesn't really matter, it's all about the caching anyway. I'm also thinking that the only thing that really matters is the CDN, since if the CDN is holding a copy of your webpage on it's servers, then it shouldn't matter the speed of your origin server at all. (Since it's not even going to the origin server to request the page).

I've heard that BunnyCDN is better than Cloudflare free. So, would upgrading to BunnyCDN fix the LCP even if I stay on Ezoic hosting? Or would the hosting actually help? Of none of these?

Thanks!

HTTP-HTTPS redirects: domain level or each URL?

Googling for answers seems to give conflicting answers here. We have a domain that has been HTTP but some individual URLs have been HTTPS (like form pages). We are about to deploy HTTPS redirect on the server to get everything going to https://www.domain.com . Do we have to go to the effort of a big 301 redirect list of all page-level URLs without Google dropping our earned page rank? One website, two properties (domains)

I wasn't sure how to frame that title so let me explain; Due to error on my part, I have ended up with, a www.xyz.com , version of my website, and one that's just xyz.com. Now I'm tracking my traffic differently on GSC and GA. I'm not sure how to feel about this. Is there anyone with a similar situation? Should I just go on like usual or are there things I need to start doing differently? Kindly advise. submitted by /u/Blessed_Dude_101010 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/87Z2MRA
