How To 4x Your Monthly Call Rate In Less Than 4 Months

Hello everyone, and welcome to my Ted Talk...

On a more serious note, I helped a local business 4x their monthly call rate in less than 4 months using these techniques that will be listed below. Now I will say this isn't going to guarantee you the same results as theres always a chance that you do better or maybe even slightly less; however, I will say that you should see a boost in your website search appearance as these are the SEO techniques I have used to grow many businesses in the past. The reason I'm posting this instead of just talking about my success is often times many people in here assume I'm looking for some form of gratitude or maybe even leads coming in from Reddit; however, in all honesty, I don't care I joined these communities on Reddit to help other like-minded people who want to grow their business and create something that can last. So here it is and even if 99% of you don't take the advice it would be great to even just help a singular business grow. I'll try to keep it short as I won't include every detail but ultimately it's going to be a long post as I'm laying probably 3/4th's of my process out here.

(If you don't believe me then I will gladly send you a picture of the metrics)

Internal Search Engine Optimization- This part is extremely important as it will set the foundation for your website and let Google know things about your business such as the industry, location, and name of your business. It's super important because let's say we're an automotive business then we don't want to be appearing for landscaping or chiropractor-related search results.

  • Content Is King, So Have A Contentful Website
    • Having a lot of content on your website can help with increasing your search presence as Google tends to promote sites with more content as it gives users something to interact with and promotes a positive user experience.
  • Adding Industry-Specific Keywords
    • Keywords are the most used words or phrases on a website and based on these keywords search engine crawlers will be able to determine things about your business so it's important to have your service, location, and brand within the top 3-5 keywords on your website.
  • Optimize Your Title Tags
    • Title tags appear on the search engine results page, but they also give key insights to both users and search engine crawlers. I would recommend keeping them within the 50-70 character range and using both location and service-based keywords.
  • Optimize Your Heading Tags
    • Heading tags tell Google which sections of your website are the most important and ultimately help determine the relevance and layout of an individual webpage for search engine crawlers. Much like title tags always include location and service-based keywords in your main H1 and H2 heading tags.
  • Local Business Schema
    • Now, this part is really the bow on top of everything but the local business schema is essentially mark-up code that tells Google everything about your business and makes it easier for search engine crawlers to read it. Many SEO experts don't use this but I always feel it does a great job helping out.

External Search Engine Optimization- External SEO is everything you can do offsite to really push your website. If internal is the foundation then external is the exterior and I believe it's just as important as internal; however, you can't have one without the other.

  • Backlinking
    • This one is going to be very short, but super important as backlinking can make or break a website. A good backlink structure tells Google you are a trustworthy site, but links from harmful or spammy sites can banish you to the shadow realm of the 15th page of Google never to be seen again. A backlink is some form of redirect from another website normally through an image or an anchor text and what it's going to do is transfer SEO power from one website to another. I can go on and on about backlinking but please if you have any questions just ask below and I will answer otherwise this will be 20 pages long.

Google My Business/ Google Map Pack- When it comes to local businesses and generating leads the Google Map Pack may be unmatched as many people see the map pack and immediately choose from the top three results that they see so it's important to win not only in the organic results but also in the map pack. It's important to note that the map pack has a different set of ranking factors than the Google search results.

  • Fill Out The GMB Profile Information To 100%
    • This is important as the more information you give Google the more trustworthy your business becomes so always fill out the information form to 100% or as best as you can.
  • Have A Strong Organic Presence
    • Having strong SEO or appearing higher up in the organic search results can influence the GMP results so that's just another reason to really dial in on your website's SEO.
  • Citation Building
    • Citations are any place your business's name, address, and phone number appear online. Some of the more popular sources would be sites like Yelp, Facebook, and Yellowpages. These are great for the GMP as it gives them more references to pull for your business.
  • Reviews
    • Getting Google reviews can make your business seem like a solid company and the more reviews you have the better; however, don't just go out and buy 500 reviews off your local Fiverr expert. Instead, ask customers with established email accounts and profiles to leave reviews as Google tends to pick up on spam immediately.

And that's really my process in a nutshell. I know this post was long but believe me, it could've been 20 pages longer. I tried to cut it down, but these are just some of the things I did for that company in order to 4x their call rate in less than 3 months and now there's no excuse to say you can't do it because I laid it all out right in front of you. Please feel free to ask any questions as there were tons of things I didn't touch on and I would be happy to go into more depth if needed.

HTTP-HTTPS redirects: domain level or each URL?

Googling for answers seems to give conflicting answers here. We have a domain that has been HTTP but some individual URLs have been HTTPS (like form pages). We are about to deploy HTTPS redirect on the server to get everything going to https://www.domain.com . Do we have to go to the effort of a big 301 redirect list of all page-level URLs without Google dropping our earned page rank? Thanks all! submitted by /u/runtmc2 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/31dJ82b

One website, two properties (domains)

I wasn't sure how to frame that title so let me explain; Due to error on my part, I have ended up with, a www.xyz.com , version of my website, and one that's just xyz.com. Now I'm tracking my traffic differently on GSC and GA. I'm not sure how to feel about this. Is there anyone with a similar situation? Should I just go on like usual or are there things I need to start doing differently? Kindly advise. submitted by /u/Blessed_Dude_101010 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/87Z2MRA
