I see a lot of posts mentioning (or directly related to) GSC, which makes sense in an SEO sub. However, I rarely see anyone mentioning GA4. To me, this makes no sense at all, since GA4 is the actual analytics tool that matters.
I understand this is very personal, but I check GA4 every day and only check GSC if I see an anomaly in organic traffic to understand what happened. Otherwise, I couldn't care less.
In these times, where traffic strategies are multifaceted and social media can bring even more traffic than organic search, or where organic traffic creates conditions for other websites to link to yours (hence you need to know the referral), keywords are just a part of a strategy. SEO is just a tool, the goal is traffic and money, not keywords.
Furthermore, you may have conversion issues, events that don't work, user flows, and much other info you may need for your website that you'll never be able to track with GSC but can easily access in GA4.
Maybe it's just me, but I find it quite shocking that people are so infatuated with GSC and pay little to no attention to GA4 (or any 3rd party analytics tool). Keywords come and go; as long as you get traffic, who cares which keyword brings it? Am I so wrong? Is there something I don't see?
UPDATE: just browsed latest posts and at least 50% of them are about GSC!
