I will show you how you can rank your youtube videos using keyword research.
So first is to start typing some keywords related to your niche on youtube. You will then add space and try to add letters after your keyword like "a" "b" "c" "d".
What you need to do is to find keywords that can give you views and rank your videos and they are not that competitive.
So for example if you type "how to make money online" on youtube that is very hard keyword to rank if you have new channel and have no audience. So you need to play with this keyword to find some longer phrase like "how to make money online during lockdown as a teenager" ( for example )
Now when you find some keyword like this. You need to check first 5 videos and see what channels are ranking for these keywords. If these channels are some main channels that have millions or hundreds of thousands of subscribers and a lot of views then forget about it and search for a different keyword.
You need to find a keyword that have first 5 videos with low subscribe count. And also these videos should have at least hundreds or thousands of views. And of course they have to be uploaded past few weeks or months. That is even better.
This will tell you that this keyword can get views and you can rank at the top with new channel. For example my youtube channel is completely new with only 2 subscribers and I already rank 2 videos using this method.
You don't need to use any keyword tool. Just do everything manually and see what suggestion is youtube giving. Then just check first 5 videos and if these videos are from "weaker" channels and have views this tell you if you do quality video on the same keyword you can rank as well!
