SEO questions on an education site

I own a general education website which has a page traffic of about 60,000 per month and its pure organic from Google. What's happened is that a few months ago, I posted about 10 articles which target Indian audience and it went mental. 80% of my traffic became Indian and revenue generated by it was just 5% of my revenue since CPM and CPC is very low for India. The problem:

  1. With every passing month, the Indian traffic seems to be going higher and higher while the traffic of other countries such as USA and EU are stagnant or falling and my revenue is hence suffering with it. Is it that if I get traffic from one country, traffic from other countries will automatically drop?
  2. I stopped posting pages targeting Indian content even though I identified 20-30 potential articles which can surge my traffic to over 2-3 million in a year. This was because I wanted to build my other country traffic and Adsense revenue rather than increasing traffic from India. Is this a good idea?
  3. What is the revenue source I can target by owning a website traffic with 5-10 million page views from India (since adsense will still end up giving me about $100 per month after 5 million views)? Planning to open a Indian website so asking if its worth it.

HTTP-HTTPS redirects: domain level or each URL?

Googling for answers seems to give conflicting answers here. We have a domain that has been HTTP but some individual URLs have been HTTPS (like form pages). We are about to deploy HTTPS redirect on the server to get everything going to https://www.domain.com . Do we have to go to the effort of a big 301 redirect list of all page-level URLs without Google dropping our earned page rank? Thanks all! submitted by /u/runtmc2 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/31dJ82b

One website, two properties (domains)

I wasn't sure how to frame that title so let me explain; Due to error on my part, I have ended up with, a www.xyz.com , version of my website, and one that's just xyz.com. Now I'm tracking my traffic differently on GSC and GA. I'm not sure how to feel about this. Is there anyone with a similar situation? Should I just go on like usual or are there things I need to start doing differently? Kindly advise. submitted by /u/Blessed_Dude_101010 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/87Z2MRA
