Feeling lost with Etsy SEO after years

Hi there,

i'm seeking for some advice for my SEO.

I'm running an etsy store for like 3 years now and in the beginning it was going well (it's just a side hustle) but i would like it to be more than just a side hustle and i need to improve my SEO.

Before i get into it, i just wanna mention real quick that i'm not interested in paying someone to do it. I'm very interested in this kind of stuff and would like to truly understand it.

+ I've got the time anyways.

I'm just gonna give you examples of one of my listings and tell you what i did.

This is an etsy listing: (NO AI WAS INVOLVED IN THIS LISTING APART FROM PROOF READING)

Title: Headphone Stand - Headset Holder with Clean Aesthetics | Perfect for Airpods Max, Sony MX4 & 5 or other Devices

Description: Elevate your desk setup with this stylish headphone stand, designed to hold your Airpods Max, Sony MX4 & 5, or other devices in a sleek, organized manner. Whether for work or your home office, this headphone holder combines functionality with clean aesthetics. Its matte finish and stunning colors make it a true eye-catcher, offering the perfect blend of form and function to enhance your workspace.

(Followed by a lot of details like size, shipping info and so on)

Tags: Headphone Stand, Headphone Cloud9, Headphone Holder, Headphone Kaws, Heaset Stand, Headset Cover, Headset Case, Apple Airpods Case, Airpods Max Stand, Headphone Stickers, Gaming Mount, Gifts for Her, Gifts for Him.

My approach was to install a new browser with a VPN activated and just browse Etsy without an account. I just searched for something like "Headphone" and then there would be a lot of suggestions like "Headphone Stand".. and all the others i've got as tags.

Additionally i looked at listings from people that sell the same stuff and get inspired by it.

I know that theres some stuff in the tags that dont make sense but whenever i typed it into etsy this is what etsy came up with.

I've filled out all the 10 image slots (valuable images with info and alt text) and a video that show all angles.

This listing got 14 views in the last 30 days. Theres of course always the answer that the product might just be bad and that can be true however let's not assume that so i can improve on SEO.

I would be increadibly thankful for people that can just point me in the right direction. Be brutally honest i want to improve.

I did read the etsy seller guide book that tells you exactly what to do and i did to the best of my ability.

Thank you!

Legit Reviews

The google review thing is insane I have gotten 2 legit verified reviews that i ask client to screenshot and observe goolge not post them, pretend like they never happened and when i sent them the image a policy message was sent . As I was browsing through the google forum a lot of ppl are getting hit with legit reviews being removed. While all this is going on i have observe a company go from 12 reviews to 65 reviews in a two month period with some stuff that dont make sense on some of them. Seems like a new business or profile is being limited while aged accounts can have a free for fall but who really knows. Still waiting for a resolution on a if any. submitted by /u/Ok-Bowl-6167 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/zkbfgDH

Local seo vs. natiowide seo?

I've done SEO for local businesses but I recently got my first client that sells an item nation wide. Any suggestions for doing nationwide SEO? I am used to making geopages for local towns. I was going to do the same with some input from the client about what cities or towns he would like to show up in? submitted by /u/Letmeinterviewyou [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News http://bit.ly/2JHy0k0

are my YT keywords being ignored?

I have 3hr+ YT videos, so I chapter them out quite extensively. I've read in a couple places if I have too many keywords just grouped together they will all be ignored. Are my keywords being ignored...or are they even being crawled...through my chapters section? Also, is hashtagging in a chapter name good, bad, or not at all relevant? example chapters: Bookmarks: 0:00 Intro 4:25 Little Panda #littlepanda 13:04 Royale With Cheese Megaways #royalewithcheesemegaways 24:48 Big Bass Bonanza #bigbassbonanza 33:02 Book of Cats #bookofcats 44:11 Tractor Beam #tractorbeam submitted by /u/bauerwelson [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/3Gx8IPZ
