Working for an agency that doesn't do backlinks, sort of feel stuck helping clients get more authority.
I'll set clients up for success with all the basic seo stuff everyone does, but once thats out of the way they simply need more backlinks to gain authority, but my agency doesn't do that so it sort of feels like my hands are tied regarding how much we can help them.
How can I tactfully inform clients the importance of backlinks, and that they should independently pursue generating or purchasing them, while ensuring it doesn’t conflict with the services / expectations of results they’re paying my agency for or create friction with my supervisors for suggesting something outside our offerings?
