Best Local SEO content writing tool?

Have been looking for the best local SEO content writing tool. Before this I was using ChatGPT and bought GPT4 but it sucks. Creating your own GPT is a joke and you can not configure it to do what you want it to. (Maybe I'm doing something wrong) Nonetheless, I need a tool that can rewrite a couple articles per page so I dont have duplicates. Want to be able to give it cities, counties, zip codes, keywords to infuse in the content. With ChatGPT I would take an article I already had and feed it in and tell it to replace location and KWs with the ones I give it. Am looking for something similar that is nice and quick to use and give out the content. Any suggestions for my specific scenario? submitted by /u/Squadbee [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/G28rzaH

Simple Squarespace website won't get indexed (Search Console says Alternate page with proper canonical tag; Discovered not indexed)

I set up a simple Squarespace website for a small business. It consists of 4 pages. Nothing complex. I submitted the sitemap and those two reasons are given. What would be the next step to check for? Squarespace support says that the canonical tag error requires no action. Barry at SERoundtable Is Essentially a Googler (stop boosting his site)

-Monitors all comments there and when you post something remotely bad about his friends, immediately deletes - sometimes at 3 a.m. -All articles are toothless and never criticize Google - Wishes "happy birthday" to Googlers like john Mu who openly make fun of SEOers with mean memes. - Close friends with Danny Sulivan who's been saying nonsense since the HCU. - Has multiple profiles on here (one of them is WEbLinker) - Likes aftermath of the HCU as his site went into the Orbit despite being a mediocre recycle of google's official statements. - Wrote 40, 000 articles but all of them are essentially copy paste from his comment sections + screen shots of SemRush submitted by /u/AngelGrinderBrah [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/DXqN1pB

Disallow in robot.txt file - should I change this?

Sort of a noob here, but I also didn't build or setup our website. Small e-commerce website with a blog that I keep seeing "disallow in your robot.txt" files so that my blog pages aren't getting indexed. I'm just trying to figure out how to increase our SEO because I think we've got some great content/keyword/etc. Am I looking in the wrong place for a solution? submitted by /u/TheAwfullyBrittish [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/RkoF5Y7

Is this traffic legit ?

First i apologize if this is not the right sub. I have a website with milions of pages that's slowly being indexed by search engines. I monitor separately the traffic and recently it went from 20 to 600 hit / day Typically this would be because of a bot like semrush, bytespider or google, mj12. Sometimes there was also some thing with multi IP from baidu and i had to block some specific user agent ... IN this case I can't find anything. However none of the serach engines or analytics reported either a spike in indexing, or traffic. Here's the 200 last it with IP and user agent... any idea ? ``` 25/02 17:22:15 172.56.84.23 mozilla/5.0 (linux; android 5.0; sm-g900p build/lrx21t) applewebkit/537.36 (khtml, like gecko) chrome/52.0.3666.1115 mobile safari/537.36 25/02 17:20:15 206.83.102.11 mozilla/5.0 (linux; android 8.0; pixel 2 build/opd3.170816.012) applewebkit/537.36 (khtml, like gecko) chrome/46.0.8855.1586 mobile safari/537.36 25/02 17:18:14 99.243.107.38 mozilla/...

Checking backlink's juice pass using SEMRush

Hi everyone, Out of curiosity, does anyone know how to check how much link juice a particular backlink is passing to a website (my competitor) using tools like SEMrush? Basically, my competitor has thousands of backlinks (most of them are spam), but I would love to figure out a way to filter the backlinks based on the amount of predicted link juice that any given backlink is providing to the client's site. A massive thank you in advance! submitted by /u/Accomplished-Can5659 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/eHYZ0FE

I changed domain name and I lost all traffic

I've been using my domain name for the past 7 to 8 years and I've been getting 700 to 1.2k Page Views daily before, but in October last year, I lost my adsense and I changed the domain name, ever since that, new domain wasn't indexed and so, I moved back to the old domain name, ever since then, I hardly get 100 clicks on console daily. What do you charge for blog posts 1000 word plus?

Video Index Validation Failed.....but some are still pending?

Simple question...if a validation fails, but some videos are still pending.. does that mean they will eventually be scanned? I know... kinda dumb question but based on Googles vague language I can't tell. More details: Trying a few fixes to get my videos to be indexed by Google again after they were deindexed in late Dec. I made some fixes and started a validation. Received a message that says the validation failed, but that there are still some 27 videos pending. Based on Googles language, I can't tell if those pending are still going to be crawled or if i need to start the validation again. submitted by /u/just-wana-help [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/rXoCx2S

2024 vs 2012

It’s been a while since I quit SEO, creating/running websites. I am considering returning, so I have a few questions. I’d really appreciate it if you could compare today vs around 2012. Seems like today, compared to 2012, Google search results don't list webpages properly. Seems Google sends its traffic to itself or its partners, instead of regular websites. Is this true? How does this effect you and what’s your niche like? Seems like today, compared to 2012, Internet traffic is monopolized by big tech. People look up website names less frequently. People share webpages online less frequently. People are using non-big-tech websites a lot less frequently now. That means search engines offer less traffic to me. Is this true? How does this effect you and what’s your niche like? Backlinks received by high authority websites (old, good content, good organic traffic, etc) in similar niches were very useful. Is that the case now? We used to exchange backlinks with similar websi...

From Top Five to None: Why Would Google Suddenly Remove a Top-Ranking Page from SERP?

Hi all! I'm diving into a question that's been on my mind lately: Under what circumstances does Google remove a website from its search results (SERP) for specific queries? particularly for keywords where the page previously ranked within the top five results. It's about SERP for specific keywords only. This question is quite broad and not about any particular case, but about understanding the general criteria for such removals. I'm specifically talking about cases where there is an outright removal from the SERP, not just a change in ranking, where search results for a certain phrase are completely gone. And importantly, this is about situations that happen suddenly, in one day, without any notice to the website owner through email or Google Search Console. This query excludes scenarios where the site is affected by a DMCA complaint, listed on transparencyreport, or has issues flagged in the Google Search Console sections for 'Security issues' or 'M...

Help: Site Name doesn't match Company Name in SERP, but it should!

I work for a company that has other organizations affiliated with it, and today I noticed the name of one of those orgs where the site name/Attribution is. This is wrong and should match the company name/title link. What can I do, if anything to fix it? Has anyone seen an issue like this? *Image is an example to show the parts I'm talking about, not the company I work for. What I know and already checked- - the organization is on a subdomain, but is mentioned on our company's website. It is not mentioned on the homepage. - schema/structured data is correct - site name is correct, meta data is correct - as far as I can tell, it's not pulling the organization's name from anywhere on the CMS (Wordpress) - the org's name does appear in some URLs on the main site Is there anything I can do about this? submitted by /u/Embarrassed_Form_735 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/fgZw2pm

SEO and plurals, apostrophes, etc.

We use AIOSEO and it docks us points if we use any apostrophes, hyphens, or plurals. I understand that Google may view the page differently For example, here are the estimated searches for keywords: hormones and women: 720 womens mental health: 320 Now if I wanted to say Hormones and Women's Mental Health would that be the above keywords in Google's mind? Or would it need to be Hormones and Womens Mental Health? It won't in AIOSEO's mind and will rate us a like a 42. However if I omit apostrophe AIOSEO would rank the page around 80 perhaps. submitted by /u/WayProfessional1126 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/PTnYSVd

Backlinks and why they suck in 2024

I have been in the SEO space for quite a while as an employee and very recently made the complete transition into agency mid 2023 despite taking the first step in 2021. Backlinks have always been an area that makes no sense to me. Mainly because what Google recommends vs what gets you ahead of your competition are two completely different things. Originally, they were thought to be gold dust for boosting your site's SEO, akin to a nod of approval from one site to another. However, the theory behind backlinks is flawed. The concept was simple: more backlinks mean your site is valuable, right? Well, not really. The chase for backlinks turned into a Wild West, with tactics ranging from guest blogging to the shadier sides of link farms and paid links. Technically, those black hat practices should get you penalised but I am yet to see that first-hand, despite working with clients who engaged in it and in fact, most of the clients I have seen engaging in black-hat backlink acquisitio...

opinions about positioning the focus keyword and h1 tag in the eyebrow headline

Thoughts on the seo practice of a homepage (and all other pages on the website that have specific keywords) focus keyword positioned in the 'eyebrow headline' and assigning this eyebrow headline with the h1tag? This approach is being used so the main headline (larger font size, weight etc.), which would be assigned h2 tag, can be used moreso as a marketing headline that doesnt have to include the keyword. submitted by /u/xtraprofessionalacct [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/vBwDgiN

Ranking one day, gone the next?

I work as a freelance SEO blog content writer, mainly in the B2B SaaS space, and I recently published an article for a client. I was super happy to see that article started ranking for our target keyword within a few days of publishing! On page 3! A couple days later, I go back to check the ranking status, and all of a sudden the article is no longer ranking for that keyword at all?? I've been working in this field for about 5 years now, and I've literally never seen this happen? Ranking well for 'Shop' but not 'Buy' ... why?

My website ranks top for "Shop Rugby Balls" but not "Buy Rugby Balls" even though keywords exist in both forms on the landing page. Also, both terms are interchangeable for google so if you type one, they will still show the other keyword in Bold. Any ideas why this is the case and how could I improve ranking for 'buy'? Should I redesign my law firm website or keep the old one?

So, my late dad used to run a law firm and he built the website himself. It’s a simple website, but it ranks pretty high for the keywords related to our niche in my country. I think it’s because it loads fast and has good local SEO. However, I feel like the website looks outdated and unprofessional compared to other law firm websites. I am planning to hire a web developer to redesign the website and make it more modern and appealing. But I’m worried that I might lose the SEO ranking and traffic that the old website has.
