Disallow in robot.txt file - should I change this?

Sort of a noob here, but I also didn't build or setup our website. Small e-commerce website with a blog that I keep seeing "disallow in your robot.txt" files so that my blog pages aren't getting indexed. I'm just trying to figure out how to increase our SEO because I think we've got some great content/keyword/etc. Am I looking in the wrong place for a solution?

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us? OR is there a better way to rank in a territory for a service.
