.edu subdomain links

I'm just wondering, other than the fact that it will be generally useful to have a link on school pages that share a parent domain, is there an SEO benefit to xyz.school.edu and abc.school.edu? Is it a different referring domain for each one? submitted by /u/Substantial_Toe9009 [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News https://ift.tt/cwUMsni

Question: What SEO tools provide insights/keyword data specifically from Puerto Rico

Hello all! I'm curious if anyone is aware of any SEO research tools (similar to SEMrush and ahrefs) that provide keyword insights for the region of Puerto Rico specifically? I have a client based in PR but I'm based in the US and unfortunately speak one language. The SEO copywriter for this client can write content in Spanish (however she utilizes Mexican Spanish instead of Puerto Rican Spanish). Of the the tools that my company utilizes (SEMrush), only so much info can be gleaned since Puerto Rico is not a region you can select or filter keyword results for in the tool. Additionally, the Spanish spoken in Puerto Rico differs which may impact how people search. I've been on the hunt for tools outside of SEMrush, Google trends, Google itself, to assist with getting keywords/data from Puerto Rico specifically. Unfortunately searching this on Google is also a nightmare cause Google often conflates or confuses Puerto Rico with PR (public relations). Or will return tools/comp...

US Justice Department sues Google again, aims to dismantle its ad division

The U.S. Justice Department has just filed its second antitrust lawsuit against Google, signaling that the government is continuing to pursue cases against tech firms. This new lawsuit, which aims to make Google divest parts of its online advertising business, is the first against the company filed under the Biden Administration.  The Department’s previous lawsuit, filed in October 2020 under the Trump Administration, accused Google of using its alleged monopoly power to eliminate competition for internet search through exclusionary agreements. That case is expected to go to trial in September.  Google also faces additional antitrust lawsuits from several state attorneys general, including one focused on its advertising business led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Virginia joined the DOJ in this lawsuit. Google’s advertising business has drawn criticism for its market positioning, as...
