Would you consider my niche site's rankings to be progressing well for it's first 6 months?

The average position for the site's first 30 days was 78.5, and for the last 30 days its had an average position of 56.2.

Can this be considered a healthy rate to climb the rankings over the first 6 months? This is my first site so I have no previous reference. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us?
