Google won't index my new posts - can't find a reason

Hi,

As the title says, I have tried to root out the cause of this issue for the past month. Here is what I have experienced.

  1. Posts on one day would all show 'Submitted and indexed' on Search Console
  2. The next day, all posts would be 'Crawled - currently not indexed' on Search Console
  3. Sometimes the new posts would get indexed in 3 hours, other days the posts would never get indexed.

There are all kinds of problems imaginable. The website is not new and has thousands of indexed pages. The ranking of none of the old posts has dropped. The new posts that get indexed rank well. But, every day there is a new type of indexing problem.

Can someone please shed some insight? I am stumped and Google is killing us.

Copying articles from Google Docs To Wordpress - Bottleneck

My writer sends me content in Google docs and images separately. Uploading them to Wordpress is a pain because I have to download everything individually and upload them one by one. A simple copy paste works for the most part but the main issue is - I want to give my images SEO friendly file names and copying them from docs names then 'image 1' , 'image 2', and so on in Wordpress. Does anyone have a solution for this?
