How I got 5 referrals and 2 clients from 1 personalized cold email within a week

I sent a highly personalized cold email to an e-commerce store in home decor and lifestyle niche stating in this format -

Email Subject - 10 ready to implement suggestions for your website to improve your SEO
Body -

  • My introduction
  • Some suggestions (technical and UX ) that can be implemented right off the bat within 30 mins (offered value)
  • Case study of our past projects of the same niche
  • How we can help them grow (in 100 words)
  • Brief pitch for a free consulatation call

I got an invation for a meeting with the founder and their in-house SEO within 10 mins. Provided an consultation for a small fee and helped them understand and implement the suggestions.

I was not able to close the deal but got 5 referrals through word of mouth and signed 2 clients today!

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs.
