Accidentally set 'Discourage search engines from indexing this site' on WordPress

So, it appears as though 'Discourage search engines from indexing this site' was set on my WordPress website and left like it for approx 2 weeks prior to me noticing - only noticed due to sharp decrease in rankings. Feels bad as a lot of work could be undone with just one checkbox being checked and we also had no auditing plugin setup so unable to see who did it.

Has this happened to anybody else in the past? Did it take long to recover from your rankings drop? Thanks!

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us?
