How will creating a new website affect SEO?

I’ve had my company’s website (On squarespace) up and running for several years and our SEO is pretty decent.

I’m thinking about starting over with a new template on Squarespace, so basically creating a new website from scratch, taking down my old one and then linking it to my domain.

Will I totally mess up the SEO if I do that?
