Should I go with .mv/.com.mv or .com

I'm starting a holding company here in the Maldives. I've seen a lot of companies move away from .mv; controlled by government owned Dhiraagu PLC. My company has a 3 letter name so for example, is it better to go with abc.mv (which looks good!) or something like abcmaldives.com. The main market I'm targeting is the local market and in terms of price, .mv domain will cost about $40/year.. which I don't really mind.

Also, is there any significant difference between .com.mv and .mv when talking in terms of SEO? Multitude of the more established companies use .com.mv for their company domain while .mv is commonly associated with subsidiary brands.

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs.
