The average position is wrong in Search Console

I am ranking for a keyword that Google Search Console says the AVP Average Position is 43 when SemRush and doing a manual check-in Incognito and using a VPN shows that I am ranking #4 on page One.

Have anyone experienced the same? This is bad when doing the reporting for the client.

He will always believe Google is correct and SemRush is wrong. How can this happen, please help. I have a report to submit to the client soon.

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us?
