[Noob question] Does mobile page speed affect ranking on desktop?

That's it. I have a WP Elementor site that seems to be a whole lot slower on mobile devices than it is on desktop (core web vitals are about 85+ on desktop and just a little over 40 on mobile)

How concerned should I be about that, and does mobile page speed affect desktop rankings?

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us?
