Money Page or Blog post?

I have a weird question -

Is it better to get a money page (landing/service page) to rank high for a keyword or a blog/informational page to rank high for it?

Or should I just have a service page and have all the relevant blog posts link to it? Would that make the service page rank higher?

Similar doubt for link building - do I build links towards the blog or service pages? I know its harder to get them for service pages, but what if I could choose?

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us? OR is there a better way to rank in a territory for a service.
