Hired a backlink agency (supposedly reputable with great reviews) and they’ve sent a few websites for approval. All look kinda scammy (i.e. the website has no clear focus and they have dozens of different categories, like business, education, health, technology, sports, etc) - even though they’re all written in good English and are formatted properly.
That said, they have high DA and traffic on an upward trajectory.
Most don’t openly advertise that they accept guest posts. I’ve made it clear that it’s a big NO-NO for sites that openly advertise acceptance of guests posts.
Besides obviously boosting my site’s DA, I’m also looking to get traffic from reputable sources (aka genuine readers of these sites), but it seems this isn’t possible because these sites don’t have a clear focus/niche.
Thoughts?
P.S. FWIW, I’m paying $200-300/link.
