I'm trying to set up GSC on a client's site that uses Go Daddy, and I'm trying to do the domain authentication.
When I click the verify button and then sign into Go Daddy, I get this:
"Click Connect to authorize google.com to enable the service(s) domain-verification, gmail-setup for (client's site).
Note:
Your domain mvpdigitalworld.com is already connected to Microsoft Office 365. This will allow google.com to potentially remove Microsoft Office 365."
I'm not sure why it says "gmail-setup" when I'm trying to set up GSC - is this the same method you would use when doing domain verification for gmail? Or is something I'm doing wrong here? I certainly don't want to screw up the client's Microsoft Outlook stuff. Any help here would be much appreciated!
