Competitors keywords are increasing.... Without additional content

According to Semrush, my competitor has increased their keywords from about 400 to 800 with no additional content (my tracking) posted or changed.

Where as my keywords are increasing with (almost) weekly blog posting at a similar rate.

How can that be?
