Hi, I run a small local services company and this year I started to take SEO more seriously.
I hired a freelancer here in the US who’s been working on my site for about 6 months now.
Everything seems to be fine, but I wanted to get a second opinion from people who know SEO better than I do just to make sure I’m not missing anything
Scope of work:
- Analysis of current site performance
- Keyword research and tracking
- SEO strategy and monthly planning
- On-page optimization (1 new service page created each month)
- 1 new blog post per month
- 1 guest post + backlink per month
- Monthly report and zoom review meeting
Results so far:
- Traffic increased from about 10–100 visitors/month to 300–400 visitors/month
- Started getting some leads through the site (none before)
- Rankings improving for local keywords
He seems to be doing high-quality work, is super responsive, and communicates well, but I don’t have much to compare it to.
I’m currently paying 750/month for this scope of work, and I’m debating whether to renew for another 6 months or explore other options. I am getting some ROI.
Does this sound like a fair deal for what’s included? And what kind of results would you expect from this level of work in 6 months? Thanks for your help
