Can having more non-US writers change the perceived “nationality” of a site based in the US?

At a bit of a loss. Site has grown significant UK traffic since three UK editors (who all also write) joined team. Posting schedule matches US, language is US, and topics are US centric. But growth of UK traffic since September/October spam update.

Should I be concerned Google somehow believes the site is now aiming at the UK? US traffic is still 3-4 times as high as UK.

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us?
