Indexing pages in a website

I run the website for our local service based business. Not a fancy website just has service pages and blogs with long keywords. Our website ranks very low so I started diving deeper into SEO. I discovered on GSC that over half of our pages say “discovered-not indexed” I’m completely lost as to why these pages aren’t indexed or if I have to always manually index them. (Our website and GBP are only about 8 months old) please help we get absolutely zero organic traffic through our website and GBP

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us?
