Is SPA or long form scrolling web design yet as good as old (MPA) design re:SEO?

I've searched topically through this subreddit, but I didn't find a direct discussion about this. Or at least in the time I spent searching.

In the past 4-6 months more customers and potential customers have drawn my attention to websites that use SPA (Single-Page Application) or SPA-like designs. They're not new, but they seem to be getting more popular. For more than a year, I saw them often with SaaS, apps, and software products or for many landing pages linked to ads, etc. These clients/potentials find them impressive and are curious if there are any penalties to using them. Impressive is a completely subjective opinion, to be clear.

It wasn't long ago that the SPA structure was still a liability to some degree where Googlebot and MPA (multi page) worked great, It was tried and true and you could depend on the crawler responses. There were often issues that were randomly occurring because of the java dependent generation while scrolling the SPA's. But there seems to be a lot more builds using SPA.

I'm looking as much for people's preferred "current" resources analyzing this related to crawlers and SEO but also welcome feedback. I need to build a "smarter" response to customers/potentials. LOL

Local seo vs. natiowide seo?

I've done SEO for local businesses but I recently got my first client that sells an item nation wide. Any suggestions for doing nationwide SEO? I am used to making geopages for local towns. I was going to do the same with some input from the client about what cities or towns he would like to show up in? submitted by /u/Letmeinterviewyou [link] [comments] from Search Engine Optimization: The Latest SEO News http://bit.ly/2JHy0k0

GMB territory inching with service company

Seeking advice on extending our service area, while our main GMB profile states SD County, we only rank in our neighborhood but we have the team to service much more jobs. The boss wants us to get addresses in these hot territories within the county and use call rail numbers to validate the GMB profile. Question: Does this still work? Will it catch up with us? OR is there a better way to rank in a territory for a service.
