Hi good people of the SEO subreddit, Weird problem on my hands this week. All of a sudden Google stopped indexing new articles and product pages that I publish. Everything before May 26th is indexed, and everything I’ve posted after that isn’t getting picked up. I used Google Search Console to check that my pages are indexable and it’s confirming that they are. If I try the old “Request Indexing” trick, it says that there’s a problem submitting my indexing request The website in question is www . supwell . io (I posted this before with real links but the moderators removed it... trying again without a direct link) I used to work in SEO so this one is a bit of a stumper… would love any suggestions. I haven’t done any sketchy linkbuilding or publish low quality content, etc that would have Google penalize my site, and I also didn’t check anything technical on the backend during the time when Google stopped indexing pages. I am working on EEAT for a doctor client of mine. Specifically, I want to work on building trust with onpage content signals, including adding "medically reviewed by [client doctor]" at the top of each blog, add an editorial standards page, adding a "published" and "last edited" section, etc..... Basically copying WebMD and other big sites lol... My question - does the way this stuff is implemented via Wordpress matter? A customer for whom I do non website related work started a Google Ads campaign with a marketing company as part of their contract. This is a paragraph they attached when they sent the email to confirm the campaign started. This seems quite absurd to me. If this were a gift shop and the customer would search for things like "gift shop near me", how the hell would it lower the click through rate? Especially if you're not even searching for the name of the company specifically or are logged in with that particular google account. (which I know they're not). I mean you want to verify that your ad is actually running and active right? They just found out the ad had not been running at all and only just got activated today. i have a day left in my subscription and don't have content gap, is the related terms report the next best thing? It's also strange how the related terms report includes multiple parent topics. My writer sends me content in Google docs and images separately. Uploading them to Wordpress is a pain because I have to download everything individually and upload them one by one. There are a couple 1 star negative google reviews about me directly (using my full name) at my employer's company. These bad reviews are due to personally having to enforce the company's policy, and I am the scapegoat (I am a W-2 employee). Because I enforce the company's policies/rules, the clients take it out on me and blame me (usually about money). This does not make me look good and deters customers, and my employer is frustrated and upset with me, etc. This is not good for my reputation and reflecting poorly. I'm using Shopify for my business and the blogging interface is terrible. If I use blog.xyz.com and self host on wordpress, then just xyz.com for my shopify storefront, will the subdomain help my product on the main domain rank higher in search results? This is the first website that I've ever created and I've posted a total of around 22 posts. I'm getting around 1.4k impressions over a 28-day period from a handful of posts, but some of my other posts that have been live for 2,3,4 months are yet to get any impressions whatsoever Google says these posts have been indexed but I can't see these posts in the SERPs though. Hi all, I'm a relatively new SEO and so far, I enjoy the process of keyword mapping and creating title tags. The one area I absolutely loathe is writing meta descriptions, especially at scale. I know that they don't have a direct impact on results and it's time consuming coming up with unique metas for every single page. I work agency side, so it takes research to know anything about the product as well. It's become cognitively draining in the sense that I'm putting in effort for something that I feel has little to no value. Starting last Thursday I began receiving e-mails for an error within merchant listings. It's for only one product and the error states: "Missing field 'image'" The thing is, the product listing in question does have an image and has been on the website for years. I haven't made any changes to the listing before this error so I don't understand why this one product is getting this error. I have tried replacing the image and validating the fix, but it comes back with the same error. Again, no changes have been made and this is the only product affected by this error. I operate a small equipment rental company. I use Facebook Instagram and Kijiji(I'm in Canada). We have a website. I don't have a Google business profile yet. I started consistently publishing blogs about two months ago, then made significant site changes to correspond with shifts I have made in my business about 3 weeks ago. I have spent several months making a decent website that serves a purpose. It has a somewhat unique name and places in the top three spots on Google, DuckDuckGo, and Bing when you look up that name. I recently used Google's Lighthouse and I was able to get 100 on the four main categories. The website loads fast, serves a purpose, does well with a specific search; however, I want to add phrases so it can place well for competitive terms. This is not a business. The Links section from GSC is no longer showing the website top page in Top linked pages and neither the main keyword in Top linking text. It's like it's never existed. Domain is 10+ years. Website top page is indexable and still shows in SERPs for the main keyword, it simply disappeared from GSC Links reports. Data was OK 1-2 days ago when I last checked. Google Bard has added classic and more genuine citations to the answers it provides and also is able to provide better summarization. We do not yet see these improvements and enhancements live yet but Jack Krawczyk from Google shared some examples on Twitter . Citations improved.
