Hello, I submitted a removal request for a URL on my site that contains Hebrew characters (percent-encoded, for example: https://tbt4u.com/product-category/%D7%A0%D7%90%D7%A7%D7%95%D7%9F-%D7%A0%D7%90%D7%99%D7%95%D7%A7/ ). I copied it exactly as it appears in Google Search and in the browser, but the request seems unsuccessful and the page is still showing in Google results even after waiting more than 24 hours. The property in Search Console matches the URL format (with/without www and https). The page actually exists and is indexed. Is there something special I should do for URLs with Hebrew characters, or does Google handle these requests differently? So our client wants to do quite a large migration, merging with another one. It's a pretty large website, with around 600 or so articles. Im in sales for a software company in a niche market. Our company is 15+ years old and has done well. However, their web presence is almost non existent. When searching any of the industry key words, we are not able to be found within the first 10 pages of Google. So I know google will update reddit posts with number of comments when it goes up (shows comment count like "50+ comments" for example....) But what if the comment count goes down? By the numbers . The dataset consisted of 12 months (Augusut 2024 to July 2025), 973 ecommerce sites, and $20 billion combined revenue. ChatGPT referral traffic was ~0.2% of total sessions – ~200× smaller than Google organic. >90% of LLM-originating ecommerce traffic came from ChatGPT (Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, etc., are were negligible). Affiliate (+86%) and organic search (+13%) conversion rates were higher than ChatGPT; only paid social converted worse than ChatGPT. ChatGPT trailed paid and organic search on revenue per session, but beat paid social. One of our websites saw a pretty sharp drop for both around the 5th and it's been trending downwards ever since. We didn't do anything significant on that site on that date or the week before it. Nothing technical, just a half-dozen new blog entries published on its CMS (and they seem fine in GSC). We've checked for stuff like manual actions and security penalties, but no dice. Heck, only unusual things we can see before this are: A jump in not-indexed pages in the Indexing->Page tab from ~2500 to ~4,500 on 28th September, then again to ~6,300 on 1 October. They're alternate pages with proper canonical tags. Most are coming from an auction website where we sometimes sell things and there's a call to action in our listings there that lead to this now-troubled website. I've had my site up for going on 3 years now, I've done a lot of work on my site and only verified my site with google last year as i didnt know about seo until then. I take care of the windows that works at small business clients, along with managing 365 licenses and typically hosting their domain name, deal with domain registration and renewal and DNS. I created an app for a very specific purpose: In germany when renting an apartment, 95% of the time you need a specific document called "Mieterselbsauskunft". Basically just a sheet with personal information, adress, employer, salary etc. Creating this document is a surprisingly big pain in the ass. Most templates you find online are badly made and filling it out in a PDF editor is cumbersome, especially when you have to do it multiple times. Thats why I made an app, that makes it easier and quicker - turning 30 minute process into a 2 minute one. I believe it is really useful to people acutely in need of this document. I think the best approach for marketing is to create a webpage and get it ranking highly for the keywords that people type when searching for this document template. Looking for some suggestions for a research tool that won't cost a zillion dollars but will hopefully do what I need it to do. I'm putting together some research to try to find the most influential citation sources for local niche business searches/prompts in a specific market. So, for example, if I were looking at veterinarians in Milwaukee, I'd like a tool to fan out and do a bunch of relevant searches for veterinarians in Milwaukee, and then figure out which citations were most prominent across the various iterations of searches it performed. There is a part of me that wants to believe that SEO is going to be more popular than ever with the emergence of AI tools. There is also a bigger part of me that starts to believe that SEO is gonna be gone in five years. I mean like completely gone, in the same way as dial up Internet is gone-gone. I subscribed to Ubersuggest's paid plan, and every week they send me an SEO report that includes details about backlinks. For the past 4-5 months, according to their report, I've been acquiring new backlinks, but I didn’t investigate them until recently. Over the last 2-3 months, I’ve started reviewing these backlinks, and it's evident that they are all fraudulent, primarily leading to irrelevant lead generation pages. When some links redirect to a Telegram page, and some lead to a Probet ad site, which has a deliberate delay of 2-3 seconds before the redirection, this is clearly a tactic to deceive search engines. A reputable company should conduct thorough checks and implement effective spam filters to prevent this kind of manipulation. Over the past year, four websites I built and currently host on a dedicated server at WPEngine did not get indexed for months post launch. and so we hired an SEO consultant to get them indexed. Communication hasn't been the best so I am not sure what, if anything, was the common thread. But since I appear to be an obvious common thread - I built them, I host them - I am concerned. The sites don't seem to have any overarching configuration problems, but they are all new domains, thin content, and not a lot of backlinks. I thought these were reasons enough for Google to overlook a website. I checked with WPEngine who said there has been no throttling or rate limiting . One IP was on an abuse list but they got it removed last week. I'm just really concerned that this has happened four times this year. Hey folks, Quick question about product schema and structured data quality. Our e-commerce site sells electronic parts (we are not the manufacturer, but the reseller), and the theme automatically adds an mpn field for every product. If a real MPN isn’t set, it just uses our internal SKU as a fallback. Example: "sku": "333003", "mpn": "333003", "brand": "Brandname" The thing is: Many items actually have manufacturer MPNs , we just haven’t filled them in yet (this will take some time...). Some products don’t have one at all . So lots of products end up with a wrong MPN (our internal reference). Everything validates fine in Google Merchant Center and Search Console, but I’m not sure what’s smarter short-term. What is the best way to set up product pages vs blog posts? I am using WordPress and have all products as pages and posts as the blog to attract traffic. Is having too many blog posts around a product topic likely cannibalising the situation? I note that sometimes 2 of my blog posts appear in the same search results, for example 1 at position 7 and another at position 9 or something like that.
