I've been rapidly building products with Cursor the past few weeks and this week I started to get into programmatic SEO. The first site I built was an agency website with 1,151 pages. I had Cursor build the site in Astro so pages can be built dynamically at build time to limit AI credit but keep the site static for faster speed and better SEO. It took me like 4 hours total and in 2 days all pages are indexed, there's already 100+ keywords, and 124 organic clicks I had the site generate pages for "[service] in [city]" in every city across the US segmented by state. Plus I did "[service] for [industry]" in every industry. Cursor set it up so that each page has unique content by creating arrays of content options for each block of content. My company provides similar services. My plan is to redirect the old domain/links to my site. Can you please explain me are core web vitals important signal for serps? I just discovered in search console that 58 URLs need improvement, both on mobile and desktop. Now i tried to fix everything i can from pagespeed analysis and for mobile i get 81 for perfomance and 98 for desktop. Site is quite fast and via inspect i see that LCP and FCP are fast. I’m working on a new site (low authority (DA 10), ~100 visits/month). All backlinks point to the homepage; all the traffic is coming from the home page. I plan to publish 50 topically related 200-400 word short blogs focusing on low KD keywords early on. Here’s the part I’m unsure about: Instead of linking the homepage to all/ a lot of the new blogs right away, does it make more sense to: Publish all the posts first Let them get indexed and show up (or not) in Google Look at GSC to see which posts actually get impressions and which rank near page 1 Only then add internal links from the homepage to the few posts that show real search demand and ranking potential The thinking is: The homepage has limited authority to pass Adding links from it to everything will dilute authority passed per internal link significantly (since authority decays fast - 85% per hop, is divided by total number of internal links on page, and is topical in nature) Pages that already get impressions ...

Three months ago I didn’t know what SEO was. I’d always wanted to start a website and finally had time to do it, so I just built one from scratch as a side project. They scrape the web. Usually via Bing or Google's index. If your site doesn't rank in the blue links, the AI can't find you. If it can't find you, it can't cite you. Basically, Traditional SEO isn't dead—it's just moving to the supply chain. We used to optimize for human clicks; now we're optimizing to be the "source of truth" the bot scrapes to answer the user. The real problem is this: You do not know how to use them in an article, and you also do not know if you used them correctly. In one line: Read your article and ask: If I delete the title, can someone still understand the topic? If yes → your n-grams are strong. If no → your content is weak. When you speak, you do not speak one word at a time. You speak in blocks of words. These word blocks are called n-grams. So from what I understand is that you need keywords, I’m in a competitive niche so I need long tail keywords as well, I also need to build up my DR/DA and have a strong backlink profile, I need to have a good website structure and then google will rank my page higher and so get more clicks on my site, is that all I need? Because I did the keywords, long tail ones too, perfected my SEO from my understanding and built backlinks, now my DA and DR isn’t the strongest, I have about 100 backlinks and my DA is 10 DR is 9. I only get about 50 clicks a month and the clicks are only for my website’s name, so people don’t click on my keywords, or they are not being ranked high enough, but there was a time about 3 months ago where I got 10x that in a month and ranked better for keywords, so what could have happened? I am curious on your responses on this. I have an older site, over 12 yrs. I am speaking with seo companies in my area and a couple agree my site is outdated and could use a rebuild which I completely understand. My concern is my site is our only form of marketing and I'm concerned with someone building out a new site for us do do time it would take to rank the new site. I starting my wedding DJ business in late 2012 and being the IT person I am I've always focused on creating a good website that first and foremost was customer first but building good principles around that. One thing that I did from the start was intermingling both B2C client (main pages, some blog posts) and my B2B informational posts for DJs. As google's algo changed rankings starting to get far more volatile where it was previously quite solid. To the point that I started to feel that my B2B informational posts could have been "confusing" the algo in the type of traffic it valued more in search. So I peeled off another domain, 301'ed my content over there. These are small sites in the grand scheme. The new domain does about double the views (11k) while my B2C site does about half that (6k). Hi everyone, I’m posting here because I’m embarking on a new adventure and need a "reality check" on my strategy to see if I’m heading in the right direction. I've been trying to get my rank higher for specific searches, one being "local architecture firms" but it keeps getting pushed to page 2, while the first page is just covered in elementor and square space sites. If you look at my dom, I'm trying to get google to read information from specific areas and my lighthouse says its 100% on SEO, which I know isn't what the rank is based on but still. My site was working fine and earning good till september this year. Important thing, i havent posted a single blog for past 2 years (Lazy AF ik ik). It was still doing great! Curious if anyone has any insight on dynamic pages that rank urls with parameters or from on site search bar results pages. An example would be from wayfair: /keyword.php?keyword=rugs+and+carpets I always assumed these were programmatically created through filters or search bars and were just by chance. I wasn't sure if there was details that you could leverage to encourage the ranking of these pages? I looked and there is no schema on those pages, its not a actual page (dynamically generated), but in the example that page sees about 6,000 visits a month organically. I own a large network of niche dating websites. Some of those are adult niche dating, so think things like fetish, sexual orientation, etc. on the adult side, we have had a really solid strategy for many years on SEO that has resulted in massive amounts of top SERPs, both in high volume keywords and way down the line in longtail. A big part of that strategy involves leveraging the profile text that users (real users, we do nothing shady like fake or AI profiles, unlike most of our competitors in adult) add to their profiles to get good search listings on crawlable pages. Hello to all issues on individual pages. On average, it performs well on desktop devices, with a score of about 0.09. However, on mobile devices, it has a score of about 0.40, which is significantly higher than having a website, and it has a few CLS in individual pages and on average, it is good on desktop devices, which is about 0.09, but on mobile devices, it has about 0.40, which is crazy. I check each individual page through Google PageSpeed Insights, and it has about 0.01 to 0.01. Hoping to get some technical insight for this one. Context, I’ve been in paid media for a decade, now find myself leaning into some website management/SEO for client that are on Squaresoace and WiX. All the research/opinion point to wordpress being top for ultimate SEO, but WIX and SP can be sufficient when a simple site is needed from a business perspective. So the question is, why is WP better technically? Google reads the content onsite no matter what the CMS, you can do some SEO things with the others, what can you do with WP that you can’t with WiX/SP? Say you take into consideration last 6 months data: For pages, with position 20+ - With very low impressions (say <500) and 0 clicks - do you remove them - 410 them? Do you 301 them? If 301, then to which pages? For pages, between pos 5-20, do you find the queries they are ranking for and add keywords that are missing in the content currently, especially in significant elements like headers? I’m looking for some clarification from the SEO community on where cloud stacking falls on the spectrum of white/grey/black hat SEO. I include cloud stacks in my SEO packages and typically build around 14 per month for a single topic/keyword set.
